The Worship/Music Ministry is seeking to uplift the
Kingdom of God through the training of our children, youth, adults, and senior
adults in the area of worship. Our desire is to glorify God and to help the
congregation encounter Him in worship. Other special groups will be developed,
but our main group for leading worship is the worship choir.
This ministry will strive to grow in the knowledge of
God, for it is by understanding His ways that we become the kind of worshippers
and worship leaders that will delight His heart.
This ministry along with the Pastor wants to succeed in
bringing the lost to Christ and our congregation to a renewed encounter with
Christ through music.
Praise Band and Orchestra play together in our 8:30 am
service. The Praise Band also plays in our 11 am and 6 pm services.
If you can play an instrument and want to use your gift
we invite you to come and join us. This is a great group of musicians who love
the Lord and work hard to lead others in the worship of God.
We presently have two children’s choirs: Cherub
Choir, ages 3 years to first grade. Petra Choir, 2nd grade through 6th grade.
We invite you to bring your children, they will have
fun learning about God as well as developing their musical skills. They do sing
occasionally sing on Sunday nights and for special occasions
The student choir involves the youth of
our church. This is a great group of young people who are seeking ways to
present the Gospel through music and the creative arts.
The Worship Choir is the main worship
leading body of the church. It involves the ages of youth to senior adults. We
are seeking to become the worship leaders God wants us to be. This choir leads
worship in both Sunday morning services and for other special occasions
throughout the year. If you want to be a part of a ministry that loves God and
